Jared Tennant

I am a 28-year-old photographer born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York. I’ve been creating images since 2014, and I recently graduated with my BFA in Photography and Related Media from The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.

My primary goal as a photographer is to document my surroundings and those around me. I tend to focus on nostalgia and the relics of what once was. I see myself as a documentarian of what is in front of me and try to preserve it for as long as possible. I feel that I have an ebb and flow with time and tangibility, and I hope to convey a longing for permanence in my work.
